Nicole Washburn, LMSW
Nicole Washburn is a Licensed Master Social Worker with over 15 years of experience supporting children and families through life’s toughest moments. She specializes in working with children under 10, parents navigating behavioral challenges, individuals healing from trauma, and families involved in foster care, family preservation, and aftercare services.
As a Certified Trauma Professional and registered STAR Behavioral Health Provider, Nicole brings a warm, grounded, and practical approach to therapy. She integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Somatic Therapy, and Attachment-Based approaches to meet each client where they are—because no two families (or kids!) are the same. She also has advanced training in supporting military members and their families, suicide prevention, parenting skills, and complex trauma.
What truly sets Nicole apart is her genuine love for working with kids and caregivers. She believes therapy should feel safe, collaborative, and even a little fun at times—especially for children. Nicole is known for her creativity, her ability to connect quickly, and her knack for helping families see progress they didn’t think was possible. She’s motivated by watching small breakthroughs turn into big changes and considers it a privilege to walk alongside families as they grow stronger together.
